§ 1

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service apply to your use of schgaragedoors.com and to garage door services provided by SCH Garage Door Parts & Repair LLC, California license #1152104 - C61/D28. By using our website or booking service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

§ 2

Website Information

Content on this website, including service descriptions and cost information, is for general information only. Average cost figures are national estimates from published industry sources and are not a quote. Your actual price depends on your door, parts and the work needed, and is confirmed in a written estimate.

§ 3

Estimates & Pricing

  • We provide a written estimate before starting work.
  • If we find additional problems during the job, we will explain them and get your approval before doing extra work.
  • Estimates are valid for the period stated on them, since parts prices can change.
§ 4

Scheduling & Access

We are open 24 hours Sunday to Thursday and 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday, and closed on Saturday. Arrival times are estimates and may change because of traffic, weather or emergency calls; we will let you know if we are running late. Please make sure an adult (18 or older) is present and that the garage is accessible and clear of vehicles and stored items near the door.

§ 5

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due in full when the work is completed. Special order doors and openers may require a deposit, which will be stated on your estimate. Accepted payment methods are listed on your estimate or invoice.

§ 6

Cancellations

Please call at least 24 hours ahead if you need to cancel or reschedule. Deposits for special order items may not be refundable once the item has been ordered from the manufacturer; this will be explained before you pay.

§ 7

Warranties

Parts may be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and our labor is covered as stated on your written estimate or invoice. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, vehicle impact, severe weather, lack of maintenance, or repairs or changes made by others after our visit.

§ 8

Safety

Garage door springs and cables are under high tension and can cause serious injury. Do not attempt to adjust or remove springs, cables, drums or bottom brackets yourself. If a spring or cable breaks, keep people and vehicles away from the door and do not operate the opener until it is inspected. Test your opener's auto reverse feature regularly.

§ 9

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by California law, SCH is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

§ 10

Reviews & Website Content

Customer reviews shown on our site are shared by real customers. All text, photos and graphics on this site belong to SCH or are used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use without written consent. Links to other websites, such as Google, are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

§ 11

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of San Joaquin County, California, unless the law requires otherwise. We always prefer to resolve concerns directly, so please call us first.

§ 12

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time by posting the new version on this page. The terms in effect when you book a job apply to that job.
